AMITY HOMECOMING WEEKEND
Amity Homecoming Weekend returns to Martha’s Vineyard Museum June 19 – 21! From film history and behind-the-scenes storytelling to community gatherings and fan experiences, Amity Homecoming Weekend brings together Islanders, scholars, artists, and audiences to revisit the stories, people and places that shaped one of cinema’s most iconic films.
In partnership with the Vineyard Gazette Media Group, the Museum will also host the Jaws Reunion Festival on the Museum’s Lewis Lawn, expanding the weekend into a broader community celebration.
Admission & Tickets
Museum admission is sold separately from program and event tickets. Admission includes access to all exhibitions, including Jaws-related artifacts and installations on view throughout the Museum.
Additional programs, screenings, talks, and special events will continue to be announced in the coming weeks.



SATURDAY, JUNE 20
Let’s Talk JAWS Live!… LIVE! – This Time It’s REALLY Personal
11:00am–12:30pm
An exclusive, non-broadcast episode experience with the hosts of the popular Let’s Talk JAWS podcast, Nate Jones and Michael Smith. Settle in for behind-the-scenes stories, deep-cut Jaws lore, and lively conversation with fellow fans who know that Jaws is more than a movie—it’s part of the Island’s DNA. Expect spontaneous trivia, surprise moments, and the chance to jump into the conversation yourself.
Jeffrey Kramer: On Jaws, Life, and the Island
1:00–2:00pm
A candid conversation with Jeffrey Kramer, best known as Deputy Hendricks in Jaws, and as an Emmy Award–winning actor and producer. Kramer reflects on his experience filming Jaws on the Island, memories of the cast and crew, and what it was like to be part of a film that became a cultural touchstone. Kramer speaks openly about his life, including his experience living with Tourette’s, the challenges he has faced, and the perspective he has gained along the way. A longtime summer resident of Martha’s Vineyard, he brings both humor and honesty to a story shaped by resilience, reinvention, and a deep connection to this place.
SUNDAY, JUNE 21
Jaws Reunion Festival
11:00am – 3:00pm
The Jaws Reunion Festival brings together actors, Island extras, authors, and fans for a day-long celebration of the iconic film. The festival will feature autograph sessions, author talks, trivia, live music from Island performers connected to the film, themed games, artisan vendors, and 1970s-inspired beach picnic fare for purchase. Visitors can also explore Jaws memorabilia and connect with fellow enthusiasts in a festive outdoor setting overlooking Vineyard Haven Harbor. Featured participants include Jeffrey Kramer, Jeffrey Voorhees, Jonathan and Stephen Searle, with additional guests to be announced. Authors Matt Taylor, Mike Smith, Christopher Shaw Myers, and Dennis Prince will also be present.

Robert Shaw: The Man My Family Knew

Christopher Shaw Meyers, nephew of actor Robert Shaw, shares stories offering a compelling look behind the scenes of Hollywood’s golden era, including the making of Jaws, while exploring the life of one of cinema’s most complex and captivating figures.
The Farmer & The Shark: Stories You’ve Never Heard
3:00pm–5:00pm
A screening of The Farmer & The Shark, telling the story of Martha’s Vineyard’s own Craig Kingsbury and his unexpected role in shaping Steven Spielberg’s Jaws. From helping Robert Shaw bring Quint to life to influencing key moments behind the scenes, Kingsbury’s story is rooted in local connections, family memories, and firsthand accounts from the production crew. Following the screening, stay for a Q&A with filmmaker John Campopiano, producer Rick DiGregorio, Kristen Kingsbury Henshaw, and special guests.
Ultimate Jaws Fan Experience Sunset Cruise
5:00pm-8:00pm
Climb aboard a wind-powered schooner for an evening exploring the real locations and stories behind Jaws. This immersive fan experience includes on-the-water views of filming sites, conversations with Island extras and historians, themed refreshments, and a commemorative swag bag.
