Lost Landmarks and Hidden Histories III

Lost Landmarks and Hidden Histories III

Join MVM Research Librarian Bow Van Riper on Wednesday, April 16, for an all-new installment of his popular series exploring the histories of things that aren’t there anymore. From a lighthouse perched on a stone island a quarter-mile offshore, to a woolen mill built a century before the Industrial Revolution, to a tea room tucked into the middle of a drawbridge—these once-iconic Vineyard landmarks have vanished from the landscape, but their stories live on.
