Join Julieanna Richardson, The Founder and President of the nation’s largest African American video oral history archive (www.thehistorymakers.org) for an interactive session on how to do oral interviews. In two hours, you will not only have fun, but you will learn important technique for doing your own oral history interviews.  Attendees will also practice the technique working in groups of two. In December 1891, after attending a six-week summer course at the Martha’s Vineyard Summer Institute, physical education teacher James Naismith invented the game of basketball as a way to play indoors during the cold Massachusetts winters. Using a soccer ball and two peach baskets, he created a game that has grown into a multi-billion dollar international sports industry.
