Join us for a unique series of lectures held in the Legacy Gardens at the historic Cooke House. Each Monday we will host an hour of captivating talks that bring Edgartown’s rich past to life. Every session will feature a new speaker, shedding light on a unique aspect of our Island’s story. Enjoy light refreshments, connect with history, and relax in the picturesque setting.

This Week’s Featured Speaker: Alexis Moreis, a dedicated conservationist and the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer & Council Member for the Wampanoag Tribe of Chappaquiddick, will discuss her pivotal and ongoing work in land rematriation, environmental justice, and Indigenous rights.

Please note this program takes place at the Museum’s Cooke House property located at 51 School Street, Edgartown MA.
