Aquinnah Wampanoag Elder Donald Widdiss is a recognized traditional wampum bead maker who will be crafting a unique wampum belt design for the Museum. Join Chief Curator Bonnie Stacy in conversation with Donald to learn about his process and the meaning of this cultural piece. Donald will share images of the belt in progress and delve into the thoughtful and intentional decisions behind each component of the belt.
