Martha’s Vineyard as Muse for Memoir

Martha’s Vineyard as Muse for Memoir

Unlock the power of memoir writing at the Museum and dive into the role of Martha’s Vineyard as a muse for memoirists. Our stories hold immense value, and even if you think you don’t have one, you do, you may just need a little help with the first steps. Join Island authors Sherry Sidoti, Nancy Slonim Aronie, and Bill Eville as they invite you into the world of personal storytelling.

Their recent memoirs have captivated readers and won accolades. Sherry’s A Smoke and A Song has earned the esteemed Gold Medal for Inspirational Memoir of 2023. Bill’s Washed Ashore explores the search for meaning in everyday existence, a journey familiar to many. Nancy Slonim Aronie, founder of the Chilmark Writing Workshop, presents Memoir as Medicine, a guide to writing stories that heal and inspire. Learn why and how to craft personal narratives that heal, liberate, inspire, and entertain. Join us for an enriching evening, connect with our community, and support the Museum’s mission.

Preregistration encouraged.
