Lunch Lecture: Local Seafood with Shelley Edmundson

Join us for April’s edition of our Lunch Lecture series to explore one of our Island’s valuable resources: seafood! Shelley Edmundson, Executive Director of the MV Fishermen’s Preservation Trust, will share about the seafood industry and the wholesale seafood market and food supply chain as it experiences the affects of the many factors impacting our oceans. Shelley will also discuss the MVFPT’s programs including the Seafood Collaborative, community supported fishery, seafood donation program, sea scallop leasing, and fisheries research.

Admission includes a light lunch from Little House Café. Pre-registration is required.
