Join us on Thursday, January 16th for Light and Shadows: Photography as a Healing Tool, an inspiring program featuring acclaimed photographer, philanthropist, and writer Michael Blanchard. Based on Martha’s Vineyard, Michael is renowned for his transformative photography and groundbreaking work in using the arts as a tool for healing.
Michael’s books, Through a Sober Lens and Fighting for My Life, have received prestigious Ben Franklin Awards for “Most Inspirational Story” and “Best Art and Photography.” His Crossroads Gallery was named Best Gallery on Martha’s Vineyard in 2019 and runner-up in 2020 by Martha’s Vineyard Magazine. Michael’s work has been featured in Vineyard Style, Cape Cod Life, and Photography Today, and he has been hailed as “The Ansel Adams of Recovery Photography” by Recovery Today Magazine.
