THIS EVENING’S PERFORMANCE: Misfits of Avalon is a dynamic Celtic music ensemble based on Martha’s Vineyard, captivating audiences across New England with their unique blend of traditional and contemporary sounds. Led by multi-instrumentalist Brian Weiland and virtuoso guitarist Max Cohen, the group delivers performances that seamlessly intertwine delicate beauty with energetic drive. Their repertoire spans from haunting airs to raucous jigs, often within the same song. With four critically acclaimed albums to their name, the Misfits continue to enchant listeners with their rich musical tapestry.
