Children’s Birthday Parties
CELEBRATE AT MVM
Make your child’s birthday memorable this year by hosting it at the MV Museum! With private use of the spacious Morgan Learning Center, access for all guests to the Museum’s exhibits, and a beautiful and inspiring setting, birthday parties at MVM are unforgettable. You can even add a themed activity run by a Museum Educator if you want to add a little extra excitement to their big day.
Parties can be booked on Saturdays or Sundays during Museum opening hours, subject to availability. We advise reaching out with as much advance notice as possible to ensure your date is available.
MVM Members: $300; Non-Members: $350.
Bookings Include
Private use of the Morgan Learning Center (classroom) for up to 4 hours.
Up to 20 child guests + as many adults as wish to attend
Admission for all guests to the Museum
The opportunity to make fun memories with friends and family in this beautiful setting!
EDUCATOR-LED ACTIVITIES
Enhance your child’s birthday party with a special activity led by a Museum Educator. Additional fee: $100
Beaded Bracelets
Make a customized buddy bracelet, maybe with a secret code, for yourself and a friend!
Treasure Hunt
Together, we’ll search for clues around the Museum to discover a hidden treasure to take home!
Let’s Make Light!
Create a Japanese-inspired paper lantern that really glows!
Fun with Fossils
Examine the oldest items in the Museum, then dig for your own fossils!
ADDITIONAL INFO AND POLICIES
Reservations are required at least 4 weeks in advance, but earlier is encouraged in order to ensure you get the date you wish. We can only hold your date once payment is received in full.
Museum hours are 10:00am-4:00pm in the shoulder season and 10:00am-5:00pm in the summer, parties must take place within this time frame, including set-up and take down.
MVM does not supply food, beverages or cake. Please anticipate bringing your own refreshments! Only standard birthday candles are allowed – no other flame (sterno can, trick candles, etc.). Food and drink are permitted in the classroom or the First Light Café area only.
Decorations are encouraged but taping of things on walls is only allowed with Museum-supplied tape/adhesive.
Child supervision is not supplied by MVM. We require 1 adult chaperone per 5 children for ages 8 and below. 1 adult per 10 children for ages 8 and up. (20 child maximum)
Cancellation Policy: Parties canceled with more than 2 weeks notice can be fully refunded. Cancellations with at least 7 days notice can receive a 50% refund. Cancellations with less than 7 days notice will result in no refund.
