From its origins in Ipswich and relocation to Edgartown Harbor to the keepers and families who lived there, this talk explores how the lighthouse became a defining part of the Island’s maritime landscape. Drawing on more than a decade interpreting Martha’s Vineyard lighthouses as a Museum docent, Deborah shares insights shaped by a lifelong fascination with these historic structures.
