The Offseason: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Claymation
Join us for a screening of “The Offseason” and the world premiere of a BRAND NEW episode! What is The Offseason, you ask? It’s a claymation show made completely by hand here on Martha’s Vineyard by two perfectly sane individuals (Henry Danielson and Sophia Kolak), broadcast to the internet from a bunker beneath Tony’s Market in Oak Bluffs. After the screening, we will show you unreleased behind the scenes footage, and answer questions such as: why are you so amazing? Come get to know us, and how we made this show a reality without funds or rationality. We will shimmy through cardboard, forge a lifelike boy from foam and wire, glue together unlikely things, reveal our “writer’s room” (it’s a table in a hallway), and show you what it takes to make our leetle puppets boogie on the big screen.
