4th Annual LadyFest
October 29 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
LADYFEST is an annual music festival typically held on Circuit Avenue and presented by The Ritz Cafe to raise awareness and funds for CONNECT To End Domestic Violence. It was co-founded by Rose Guerin and Kelly Feirtag in 2017, with special assistance by The Ritz Cafe owner, Larkin Stallings. Previously, the event has featured female musical artists from many genres including rock, soul, and pop, who are mostly based on MV, playing on several stages.
LADYFEST partners with the Island’s own CONNECT To End Domestic Violence. The mission of CONNECT is to reduce domestic and sexual violence on Martha’s Vineyard by changing the social norms through education, advocacy, and community mobilization. This also includes providing crisis intervention services, counseling, and support services for victims. A portion of profits goes directly to CONNECT, with funds assisting victims with housing, bills, groceries, and any other needs.
Enjoy a mini version to take place in accordance with all state and local health guidelines outdoors at the MV Museum with limited ticket sales, a virtual live stream on Facebook, and opportunities to donate to CONNECT made available.
Suggested donation to attend $20. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing. If you want to sit during the performances, please bring a chair/blanket.
*** Please note, this event is sold out. Thank you for your interest. Be sure to watch the Facebook live.
