Keeping The Light Experience

Keeping The Light Experience

Join us for a special evening honoring the legendary Fresnel lens. With the extraordinary history and iconic lens now a treasured centerpiece of the Museum, guests will have the rare opportunity to witness the former Gay Head Light in rotation — a powerful and seldom-seen experience that brings the Light’s story vividly to life.

The evening will feature remarks from former keepers and others closely connected to the Light’s history, including reflections on the remarkable women who served as keepers. Guests will also be treated to a special live musical tribute to Gay Head Light, with Kate Taylor singing her nephew Isaac Taylor’s song, “Beams of the Queen,” along with wine and light bites. Share in the celebration of the stories, stewardship, and enduring spirit that continue to keep the Light shining. (Each ticket holder will receive two drink tickets.)

Admission: $30 per person; includes 2 drink tickets
