Jeffrey Kramer: On Jaws, Life, and the Island

Jeffrey Kramer: On Jaws, Life, and the Island

As part of Amity Homecoming Weekend, join us at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum for an afternoon with Jeffrey Kramer, best known as Deputy Hendricks in JAWS, and as an Emmy Award–winning actor and producer.

In this candid conversation, Kramer reflects on his experience filming Jaws on the Island, sharing behind-the-scenes stories, memories of the cast and crew, and what it was like to be part of a film that became a cultural touchstone. The conversation also offers a more personal look at the path that followed.

Kramer will speak openly about his life and career, including his experience living with Tourette’s, the challenges he has faced, and the perspective he has gained along the way. A longtime summer resident of Martha’s Vineyard, he brings both humor and honesty to a story shaped by resilience, reinvention, and a deep connection to this place.

Admission: $30 per person
