Inside Circuit Arts: Art, Marriage & Collaboration
Inside Circuit Arts: Art, Marriage & Collaboration
Spend an hour with Brooke Hardman-Ditchfield and Brian Ditchfield, the duo quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) behind a huge share of what’s happening on Martha’s Vineyard.
He grew up here, left to make films, then came back and built an arts ecosystem. She’s an award-nominated director, actor, and educator who knows how to make a stage feel electric. Together, they’ve shaped Circuit Arts into something that reaches just about everyone: movies, theater, live music, kids’ programs, late-night screenings, big ideas, small moments.
This conversation gets into what that actually takes, how things get programmed, what’s changed, what’s next, and why it all matters. It’s also the story behind the story: how they met, how they work together, and how a shared life folds into a shared mission.
If you’ve ever gone to the Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival, piled into the car for a night at the Drive-In at the YMCA, caught a show at the Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse, or seen a high school musical at the Performing Arts Center, you’ve experienced part of the world Brooke and Brian help bring to life. This is a chance to hear directly from them.
Arrive early—join us at 4pm in the First Light Café for drinks and light bites.
