SOLD OUT – History Unfolded: Jaws and the Summer of 1974
July 27, 2021 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

In conjunction with the Museum’s exhibition Tomorrow’s History: 175 Years of the Vineyard Gazette, this program series takes a deep dive into some of the Island’s most compelling stories. Join Museum colleagues and friends as they explore a different topic each week, offering deeper insight into our Island’s rich history.
Using the Vineyard Gazette’s coverage as a window onto the summer of 1974, MV Museum Research Librarian Bow Van Riper will go behind the scenes of Jaws, the blockbuster film that changed the Vineyard – and Hollywood – forever.
This talk will take place in the Morgan Learning Center at MVM.
This event is sold out. If you would like to join us for a different History Unfolded talk you can purchase tickets here.
