Hidden Collections with Bow Van Riper – Virtual Event
May 5 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
|Recurring Event (See all)
An event every month that begins at 12:30 pm on day First of the month, repeating until May 9, 2021

The Museum’s archives hold thousands of documents, postcards, maps, photographs, and other ephemera. They remain safely housed in climate-controlled storage, with only a few examples used in temporary exhibitions. The stories they tell are the stories of Martha’s Vineyard: nuanced, complicated, romantic, colorful, and challenging. Join Research Librarian Bow Van Riper as he takes you behind the scenes for an exploration of a new selection of the Museum’s archives and the fascinating stories that they hold.
This event is free and will be held virtually over Zoom. To register, click here.
