Foraging with Curiosity: Plants, Place and Connection

Foraging with Curiosity: Plants, Place and Connection

Beyond the question of “Can I eat that?”, foraging can offer a deeper connection to the natural world—and to the places we call home.

Join Rebecca Gilbert, author of Weedy Wisdom for the Curious Forager, for a conversation about foraging, plant communication, and nature connection. Drawing on years of working with plants and observing the natural world, Gilbert will explore how foraging can become more than a way to find food: it can change how we pay attention to the landscape around us and deepen our relationship with the wild plants growing all around us.

Come curious and leave with a different way of seeing the world just beyond your door. There may even be a little something to taste.

Arrive at 4 pm for a pre-talk mingle in the First Light Café.
