Earth Day Beach Clean-Up & Conservation Festival

Earth Day Beach Clean-Up & Conservation Festival

The Vineyard Conservation Society’s 34th annual Earth Day Beach Clean-Up returns on Saturday, April 18, bringing together community members across the Island for a morning of stewardship and care for Vineyard shorelines.

From 10am to 12pm, participants are invited to choose a beach, check in with a local host for supplies (or bring their own), and take part in the Island-wide clean-up effort.

Following the clean-up, the Martha’s Vineyard Museum will host the Earth Day Conservation Festival from 12-3pm. Festival attendees will receive free Museum admission during this time and can connect with more than 20 local organizations working to protect the Island’s environment. The afternoon will include live music, family-friendly activities, educational displays, and opportunities to learn more about conservation efforts across Martha’s Vineyard.

All are welcome to participate in one or both portions of the day.
