Join us on Friday, May 15 for the opening reception of The Light is Returning, a deeply personal exhibition by Colin Ruel exploring the shifting realities of coastal life on Martha’s Vineyard.
Through artwork, archival materials, and installation, Ruel reflects on the contrast between generations—his grandfather’s life shaped by labor, community, and place, and his own experience raising a family in an Island transformed by economic pressure and change.
