The Changing Tick Landscape

The Changing Tick Landscape

Part I of our “Ticks on the Vineyard: What We Know” Online Information Series

Join Patrick Roden-Reynolds, Director of the Martha’s Vineyard Tick Program and Public Health Biologist, for an in-depth look at how tick populations are shifting across the Island and what that means for daily life.

Drawing on the latest local data, including the Tick Program’s yard surveys, this program examines where ticks are appearing, how patterns are changing, and what practical steps residents can take to reduce risk. As tick activity expands into new areas, understanding current conditions—and how to respond to them—has become increasingly important.

This program offers timely, science-based guidance for navigating the Vineyard’s evolving tick landscape as the busy spring and summer seasons begin.

[Please note: This is an online program]

Admission: $10 per participant. Registered attendees will receive a link to join by email before the program begins.
