The full name of the author is never given in the materials, but presumably, the author was Horace L. Flanders, who was born in 1861 to Albert F. Flanders, 1823-1902, and Eunice A. Tilton, 1834-1921, of Chilmark. He was married to Abbie S. Packard in 1904. He died in 1936.
Scope and Content of Collection
These account books record the daily weather from 1889 through 1916. The books are numbered, one through ten. Book two and book seven were not present during processing so they were presumably not part of the original acquisition.
