Biography/Historical Note

Marjorie Manter Rogers was born to an old Vineyard family in 1928. She studied in Maine until she returned to Martha's Vineyard where she married Harold D. Rogers and moved to Meadowbrook Farm in West Tisbury. She had worked at the Martha's Vineyard Bank, was an horseback rider, and had coordinated the West Tisbury Harvest Festival in her later years. She passed away in 2013.

Scope and Content of Collection

The collection is predominately made up of photographs collected by Marjorie Manter Rogers regarding Martha's Vineyard. It also includes ephemera, paper works, an autograph album, a drawing, and a yearbook.
