The artificial collection contains administrative records, constitutions, excerpts, histories, instructions, menus, meeting minutes, notes, notebooks, pamphlets, posters, event programs, and receipts related to clubs and organizations that were active on Martha's Vineyard in the 19th and 20th centuries. Some of the relative clubs are the Barnacle Club, Edgartown Firemen's Association, Edgartown Home Club, Island Knitting Basket, the Martha's Vineyard Camera Club, the North Tisbury Literary and Debating Club and the Social Harmoneans. The collection holds both internal management and outreach materials.
