Scope and Content of Collection
The artificial collection contains admission tickets, fliers, invitations, posters, programs, tickets, ticket stubs, theater programs, and writings regarding the social and artistic events of the 19th and 20th centuries on Martha's Vineyard. The collection is predominately programs from community theatrical and musical performances. Social event materials are from community balls, private parties, fairs, and fund raising events. There are also numerous programs from high school commencement ceremonies.

The collection is arranged alphabetically by event title followed by unidentified materials.
